Female Raccoons have started to give birth!

Raccoons have started giving birth and the population of Raccoon’s is growing in Wisconsin. Raccoon’s come to the city looking for food, water and shelter. Besides the never ending supply of food and water, there’s plenty of attics in Wisconsin for a Raccoon to choose from. Raccoon’s are very strong and destructive animals. They may look cute but are mean and carry disease such as round worm which is harmful to people and pets in the State of Wisconsin. When a Raccoon is looking for a place to make it’s home, it is common for them to choose a attic of a home. If there is no attic, then they will often make a nest in your soffits or in the wall of a home. In the late winter the Raccoon’s will begin breeding. This is when the trouble starts for the citizens of Wisconsin. The female Raccoon will choose 2 or 3 places to have her babies. She does this so if one place becomes dangerous she already has another spot to move them to. The nesting spot has to be warm, dry and safe from predators, what better place then your attic of your home in Wisconsin! Keeping your tree branches trimmed and away from your house will help a lot. Raccoon’s are excellent climbers. Once they are able to get on your roof, the Raccoon will rip a hole in your roof to get into your attic. Don’t be fooled they are not just playing up there! Raccoon’s are strong and can rip off the shingles on your roof! Another common place they like to break in is your soffits of your home in Wisconsin. Once the female has given birth, she will raise her babies in your attic for about the next 6 months. Raccoon’s will move your insulation around and urinate and poop all over causing your attic to stink. Our company will remove the Raccoon’s from your attic and replace your insulation and disinfect and deodorize. So if you discover you have a animal in your attic in Wisconsin, chances are it’s a Raccoon. Don’t wait call us today and we will get the problem resolved before the damage becomes worse.

Our company also provides attic sanitation after we remove the Raccoons!

Raccoon babies will be mobile soon!!

I grew up as a Raccoon Trapper in Wisconsin Rapids and caught my first one when I was 9 years old. I trapped several hundred Raccoon’s for the fur until I was 18 and the fur market crashed. I went into the service and continued trapping and snaring different animals in lots of different countries. I was released from the service in San Diego in 1995 and started trapping Raccoon’s again in 2000. But this was a new way of trapping for me. I was used to trapping with snares and foothold traps, but those are dangerous in the city, so I used cage traps, and I took a liking to the catch and release way of doing business. Now I train Raccoon trappers all over the country. I have offices in San Diego, Los Angeles, , San Fransisco, Madison, Milwaukee, La Crosse, Green Bay, Minocqua,  Phoenix, Long Beach and Orange county and now I live in Wisconsin Rapids again, and will take a raccoon trapping job anywhere in Wisconsin.

Raccoon trappers had a good year last year. The fur market has shifted due to the cold weather in Russia. Chinese garment makers are snatching up Raccoon Fur all over the United States. Fur buyers drive panel trucks and pick ups all over buying fur from raccoon trappers who have spent all winter honoring the age old tradition of raccoon trapping. Even Danial Boone had a raccoon skin cap! He was a raccoon trapper too.

From there the Raccoon trappers furs go to a big auction house where the Chinese sort of dominate the room. They have the cheep labor to produce the garments that the Russians need to stay warm. I am not exaggerating when I say that NOTHING is as comfortable and warm as real fur! There are organizations who succeeded in ruining the fur market here in the United States, but I don’t think the Europeans will fall for there line of c#$p. They know what they like and don’t much care what people think . I personally don’t have the time needed to trap Raccoon’s any more for the fur. I get the Raccoon’s out with live traps and one way doors. The only raccoon trapping I do now is when Raccoon’s get inside houses, and make nests in attic spaces. Sometimes a Raccoon walking on a roof is the target, or a raccoon eating Koi fish or digging the lawn at someones home. This is happening everywhere including ALL CITIES of Los Angeles and the city of Long beach, Anaheim, Torrance and Beverly Hills.

My crew traps more than Raccoon’s! As a matter of fact, we trap almost anything that isn’t protected. Skunks, Bats, Squirrels, Turtles, Muskrats, Rabbits, Coyotes, Fox, Beaver, Woodchucks, and Snakes are all on the top of the list for us here! We are open seven days a week. Call us today for a appointment 800-714-8727

Raccoon’s eat just about anything. That makes them Omnivores. I’ll write down a Raccoon Menu but it is mainly whatever is close by, and easiest to get.Craw fish, fish, mice, rats, eggs, birds, snakes, snails, bats, are all part of the moving meals old man Raccoon could go after. Now lets go over the veggie tray shall we? We have plenty of backyard vegetable gardens for the gangs of Raccoon’s to get into. Fences don’t stop them, as they can climb like a monkey. Tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries, even beans and squash will do in a pinch. They can clear out your garden in no time. Call us and we can trap and relocate these pesty animals before they destroy your garden or destroy your yard. Our dispatcher Kim will answer any questions you may have and put you in contact with a Raccoon Control Professional.

Now lets talk about what that animal is going to eat because it is put there by you or your neighbors. Dog food, cat food, grain left out for bird feeders, tallow left out so winter birds can survive the winter, and sugar water left out for the humming birds. Nothing is safe from a Raccoon. Keep any sources of food inside at night because this is what attracts wild animals to your yard. Keeping your pets inside at night is a good idea if you have seen Raccoon’s in your neighborhood. A Raccoon can get very aggressive and kill a dog or cat. Keeping your garbage in a tight and secure container will help a lot. If a Raccoon is hungry and there is no garden to raid or pet food to eat he will try to get into your trash. We can help with all of your Raccoon issues, give us a call today!

All we can do is control the environment, and provide Raccoon control via. population control. By controlling the Raccoon’s environment, I mean that he is there for a reason. And we need to take away that reason. Controlling a Raccoon’s access to food sources and water sources is taking awat the keys to the grocery store. Tight fitting lids on garbage cans, controlling Raccoon’s access to bird feeders, and not feeding animals outside after dark is a good start.

Raccoon’s NEED a water supply too! So we need to control Raccoon’s access to water. Bird baths, swimming pools, Koi Ponds all attract Raccoon’s. Controlling Raccoon’s access to something as large as a pool can be a challenge because of the animals ability to climb, but low voltage electric wire is always an option.

In the event that our Raccoon Control efforts are of a type where the habitat modification wont work, I have to admit that we are going to have to use population reduction as a method of raccoon control. In this case, we use humane traps in order to get them captured, and where ever possible, we relocate Raccoon’s to an area where he can be a Raccoon, without the problems of human intervention. I have to admit, there are more Raccoon’s in the city than in the country. But there’s more opportunity too, same as people. They take what we offer them. Raccoon’s act like a three year old kid, they like to play in your yard and even on roofs. This behavior is not uncommon. Just give us a call and we can trap and relocate these animals for you. We service ALL CITIES of Los Angeles, Sacremento, Orange county and Arizona.

I have offices in Los Angeles, San Diego, Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, La Crosse, Phoenix, Plover and Sacramento where I have several humane raccoon “exterminators” and we stay in daily contact with them. There is always a better mouse trap being invented. Or a better raccoon trap for that matter.

Raccoon’s use there front paws as hands to open things, and are really strong for such a little animal. I know he doesn’t look small to you, but compared to a deer, or a bear they pale in size. They are called the little grizzly bear because of the strength, and bone structure. I cant imagine being face to face with a 350 pound Raccoon! It would be so easy for him to get at anyone unless they lived inside an iron box. The Raccoon of today can get into just about anything he wants to. And they are so smart that they figure things out. Almost monkey like, a Raccoon can hold an object with his front paws, and run on his back legs! They climb gutters, trees, porch posts, and figure out how to open garbage cans. I even see them going in cat doors and raiding kitchen cabinets.

Raccoon’s will rip open a roof in an attempt to get inside for several reasons. Providing shelter for babies, Searching for food such as bat colonies, and just being curious. They are especially drawn to chimney caps, and roof vents. Raccoon’s are strong animals and use there paws like fingers to rip caps off and gain access to homes and attics. These animals are fearless and very strong and if they want to get into your house they will get in. If you are having problems with Raccoon’s don’t wait, give us a call today before it’s too late!     800-714-8727

A pest control company is typically considered when a pest is giving someone problems. They usually have the same answer to everything. Kill it and use poison spray to do it. We don’t tune in to that way of thinking. We have a greener way of doing things that don’t make you feel like you hired a proxy killer to resolve the issue. Its friendly for the environment too! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like spiders at all, but I just avoid them when I can, and If i have to crawl over them, I keep focused on the job, and not the spiders.

Understanding Raccoon’s after years and years of  study allows me to do more than teach my guys in the field how to deal with them. After being immersed in the Raccoon world for so long, I can teach people all about Raccoon’s. I can also teach people how to deal with Raccoon’s, and answer about any question you can come up with. Female Raccoon’s are starting to give birth!

Raccoon Removal in Green bay is nothing new to us here! Everyone wonders how Raccoon’s get in an attic, inside soffits, and in walls of there home. Why Raccoon’s get in houses, and aren’t the Raccoon’s supposed to be afraid of people? Call us now, and I’ll explain it to you.

Raccoon’s in the wild are scared of anything new. Be it people, dogs, gunshots, you name it, if they don’t know what it is, they are scared of it. But in the city people aren’t so out of the ordinary. Houses are everywhere, and there is heat in the attic. To the Raccoon it is just a fancy hollow tree.

But the Raccoon wont bother to break in homes unless there’s a reason for it. A female Raccoon wants to give birth to Raccoon litters near the food and water. If you don’t want to worry about your lawn being a feeding area for Raccoon’s, you can start with the garbage. Keep it in cans with locking lids.

Bird feeders are good chow for any Raccoon, as they don’t mind eating grain.

Some of the biggest problems in feeding Raccoon’s is when people feed dogs and cats outside. STOP DOING THAT! The Raccoon’s love it. If you don’t feed them, they will go away. Raccoon’s also eat bird eggs, small animals, and frogs and shellfish, but none of that should be of concern to you, as you cant control that food source.

Now be sure to cut off any water supply for them. That includes pools, bird baths, and small ponds.
