Female Raccoon’s are starting to give birth and the population of Raccoon’s is growing in Burbank. Raccoon’s come to the city looking for food, water and shelter. Besides the never ending supply of food and water, there’s plenty of attics in Burbank for a raccoon to choose from. Raccoon’s are very strong and destructive animals. They may look cute but are mean and carry disease such as round worm which is harmful to people and pets in the city of Burbank. When a Raccoon is looking for a place to make it’s home, it is common for them to choose a attic of a home. If there is no attic, then they will often make a nest in your soffits or in the wall of a home. In the late winter the Raccoon’s will begin breeding. This is when the trouble starts for the citizens of Burbank. The female raccoon will choose 2 or 3 places to have her babies. She does this so if one place becomes dangerous she already has another spot to move them to. The nesting spot has to be warm, dry and safe from predators, what better place then your attic of your home in Burbank! Keeping your tree branches trimmed and away from your house will help a lot. Raccoon’s are excellent climbers. Once they are able to get on your roof, the female Raccoon will rip a hole in your roof to get into your attic. Don’t be fooled they are not just playing up there! Raccoon’s are strong and can rip off the shingles on your roof! Another common place they like to break in is your soffits of your home in Burbank. Once the female has given birth, she will raise her babies in your attic for about the next 6 months. Raccoon’s will move your insulation around and urinate and poop all over causing your attic to stink. Our company will remove the Raccoon’s from your attic and replace your insulation and disinfect and deodorize. So if you discover you have a animal in your attic in Burbank, chances are it’s a raccoon. Don’t wait call us today and we will get the problem resolved before the damage becomes worse. If you have a Raccoon in your attic, call us today and get a FREE price quote over the phone from a Raccoon Removal Professional!

Raccoon babies will be mobile soon!!

Female Raccoon’s are starting to give birth again! Raccoon’s are causing problems in all cities of Los Angeles including Long Beach and Anaheim. Raccoon problems are becoming more common in Anaheim and Long Beach, California. I’m going to provide you with information on Raccoon behavior to help you understand why Raccoon’s cause problems for the citizens of Long Beach and Anaheim.

Raccoon’s Digging Up My Lawn

If you live in Long Beach or Anaheim and notice that something is digging up your grass, you are not alone. When other food sources are not available to a Raccoon they will dig for worms or insects they like to eat. This is a common problem every year in the fall. The baby Raccoon’s have grown and are almost the size of the mother by this time. The mother Raccoon is showing her teen age babies how to find food. This is going to cause more destruction to your lawn because now you have more than one Raccoon digging up your grass. When this is happening to you, you need to call a Professional Raccoon Trapper to trap and remove the Raccoon’s. Raccoon’s are stubborn and will keep coming back as long as there is something to eat causing further damage to your lawn in Long Beach and Anaheim. Give us a call and our Raccoon Trapper will put a stop to this problem within a couple of days.

Raccoon’s Eating Koi Fish

I get calls from Long Beach and Anaheim all the time with this Raccoon problem. Raccoon’s are eating Koi Fish from ponds, which is surprisingly normal Raccoon behavior. Raccoon’s eat Fish, Shell Fish, Small Birds, and Rodents, as well as fruits that have fallen from trees. It leads me to believe that the Raccoon’s eating Koi Fish have come in from the more wild areas of Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Raccoon’s born and raised in the urban areas are well versed at obtaining meals from dumpsters and dog food bowls left out for peoples pets. Another reason could be that Raccoon’s need water to swallow food. The masked bandit was once believed to be a cleaner animal than most because it always washes its food. In reality, it doesn’t produce enough saliva to help its food get to the stomach, so, being the resourceful guy he is, he finds water to help him along. While it washes its meal, it may notice the Fish moving in the water, and return nightly to do a little fishing. Fact is, that the Raccoon is costing you a lot of money eating your Koi Fish, and you need him gone, no matter why he was there.

We are a private Wildlife Removal company, we are NOT a animal rescue or non-profit organization, if you have a domestic animal issue please call your city Animal Control.

Raccoon on roof in Los Angeles

Raccoon on my Roof

We get calls every day from Long Beach and Anaheim about Raccoon’s on roofs. If there is something a Raccoon can climb to get on your roof, they will find it. Raccoon’s love to climb and are very good at it. Keeping you trees trimmed away from your house is a good idea. Raccoon’s will lift up your shingles to get at insects that live under them. Spiders are a common insect that live under your shingles. Raccoon’s like to eat spiders and other insects related to them. A pregnant mother Raccoon will climb on your roof looking for a place to break in so she can have her babies in your attic. Once she can smell the air coming from your attic she knows she doesn’t have far to go. Raccoon’s are strong and will destroy shingles or soffits to get into your attic. If you see a Raccoon on your roof in Long Beach or Anaheim, this is a good time to call a Professional Trapper and have the animal removed before the situation gets worse.

Raccoon in Attic

If you are hearing noises in your attic in Long Beach or Anaheim, chances are it’s a Raccoon. Raccoon’s like a safe dark place to sleep during the day. Raccoon’s are nocturnal so they sleep all day. That’s why you will hear the noises in the attic usually early morning and evening when they are leaving to go eat and drink and before it gets light outside in the morning. Sunlight hurts the Raccoon’s eyes so they like to be back to their den before the sun comes up. Female Raccoon’s will give birth in the early spring so they will choose 2 or 3 places to have their babies. This way if one place becomes unsafe she already has another place to go. Raccoons will cause damage to your wiring and insulation when they have made a home in your attic. They also will make their own little toilet up there. Raccoon poop not only does it stink but is toxic to you and your family. Raccoon feces carries Round Worm. Humans and pets can contract this worm. This is why it’s important to call a professional to get the Raccoons removed as soon as possible. Our company will remove the animal and the waste it left behind. We will also disinfect and deodorize and replace your insulation if needed.

We also provide removal of Skunks, Bats, Snakes, Opossums, Wild Cats, Coyotes and Rodents!

It’s that time of year again! Breeding season is here and Raccoon’s have already given birth. If you discover that you have a Raccoon living in your attic or under your house this is not uncommon. Raccoon’s like to live where it is warm and dark. They are night animals so they sleep during the day. The light hurts their eyes so it has to be a dark place. Raccoon’s also like to have their babies in a attic or under a house because they want to keep the babies safe from predators and the male raccoon. The male raccoon will kill the babies to breed the female again. Our professional trapper has different ways of taking care of this problem, but will safely relocate the family to their natural environment. If you need raccoon removal call us today and our dispatcher Kim will put you in contact with a professional trapper.

I grew up as a Raccoon Trapper in Wisconsin Rapids and caught my first one when I was 9 years old. I trapped several hundred Raccoon’s for the fur until I was 18 and the fur market crashed. I went into the service and continued trapping and snaring different animals in lots of different countries. I was released from the service in San Diego in 1995 and started trapping Raccoon’s again in 2000. But this was a new way of trapping for me. I was used to trapping with snares and foothold traps, but those are dangerous in the city, so I used cage traps, and I took a liking to the catch and release way of doing business. Now I train Raccoon trappers all over the country. I have offices in San Diego, Los Angeles, , San Fransisco, Madison, Milwaukee, La Crosse, Green Bay, Minocqua,  Phoenix, Long Beach and Orange county and now I live in Wisconsin Rapids again, and will take a raccoon trapping job anywhere in Wisconsin.

Raccoon trappers had a good year last year. The fur market has shifted due to the cold weather in Russia. Chinese garment makers are snatching up Raccoon Fur all over the United States. Fur buyers drive panel trucks and pick ups all over buying fur from raccoon trappers who have spent all winter honoring the age old tradition of raccoon trapping. Even Danial Boone had a raccoon skin cap! He was a raccoon trapper too.

From there the Raccoon trappers furs go to a big auction house where the Chinese sort of dominate the room. They have the cheep labor to produce the garments that the Russians need to stay warm. I am not exaggerating when I say that NOTHING is as comfortable and warm as real fur! There are organizations who succeeded in ruining the fur market here in the United States, but I don’t think the Europeans will fall for there line of c#$p. They know what they like and don’t much care what people think . I personally don’t have the time needed to trap Raccoon’s any more for the fur. I get the Raccoon’s out with live traps and one way doors. The only raccoon trapping I do now is when Raccoon’s get inside houses, and make nests in attic spaces. Sometimes a Raccoon walking on a roof is the target, or a raccoon eating Koi fish or digging the lawn at someones home. This is happening everywhere including ALL CITIES of Los Angeles and the city of Long beach, Anaheim, Torrance and Beverly Hills.

My crew traps more than Raccoon’s! As a matter of fact, we trap almost anything that isn’t protected. Skunks, Bats, Squirrels, Turtles, Muskrats, Rabbits, Coyotes, Fox, Beaver, Woodchucks, and Snakes are all on the top of the list for us here! We are open seven days a week. Raccoon’s eat just about anything. That makes them Omnivores. I’ll write down a Raccoon Menu but it is mainly whatever is close by, and easiest to get.Craw fish, fish, mice, rats, eggs, birds, snakes, snails, bats, are all part of the moving meals old man Raccoon could go after. Now lets go over the veggie tray shall we? We have plenty of backyard vegetable gardens for the gangs of Raccoon’s to get into. Fences don’t stop them, as they can climb like a monkey. Tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries, even beans and squash will do in a pinch. They can clear out your garden in no time. Call us and we can trap and relocate these pesty animals before they destroy your garden or destroy your yard. Our dispatcher Kim will answer any questions you may have and put you in contact with a Raccoon Control Professional.

Now lets talk about what that animal is going to eat because it is put there by you or your neighbors. Dog food, cat food, grain left out for bird feeders, tallow left out so winter birds can survive the winter, and sugar water left out for the humming birds. Nothing is safe from a Raccoon. Keep any sources of food inside at night because this is what attracts wild animals to your yard. Keeping your pets inside at night is a good idea if you have seen Raccoon’s in your neighborhood. A Raccoon can get very aggressive and kill a dog or cat. Keeping your garbage in a tight and secure container will help a lot. If a Raccoon is hungry and there is no garden to raid or pet food to eat he will try to get into your trash. We can help with all of your Raccoon issues, give us a call today!

All we can do is control the environment, and provide Raccoon control via. population control. By controlling the Raccoon’s environment, I mean that he is there for a reason. And we need to take away that reason. Controlling a Raccoon’s access to food sources and water sources is taking awat the keys to the grocery store. Tight fitting lids on garbage cans, controlling Raccoon’s access to bird feeders, and not feeding animals outside after dark is a good start.

Raccoon’s NEED a water supply too! So we need to control Raccoon’s access to water. Bird baths, swimming pools, Koi Ponds all attract Raccoon’s. Controlling Raccoon’s access to something as large as a pool can be a challenge because of the animals ability to climb, but low voltage electric wire is always an option.

In the event that our Raccoon Control efforts are of a type where the habitat modification wont work, I have to admit that we are going to have to use population reduction as a method of raccoon control. In this case, we use humane traps in order to get them captured, and where ever possible, we relocate Raccoon’s to an area where he can be a Raccoon, without the problems of human intervention. I have to admit, there are more Raccoon’s in the city than in the country. But there’s more opportunity too, same as people. They take what we offer them. Raccoon’s act like a three year old kid, they like to play in your yard and even on roofs. This behavior is not uncommon. Just give us a call and we can trap and relocate these animals for you. We service ALL CITIES of Los Angeles, Sacremento, Orange county and Arizona.

Female Raccoon’s are starting to give birth!

How they found there way, and why they chose your house is a little more complicated. Tree branches are a good place to start. Keep them trimmed away from your home, and the animals have no ladder to get there. But that wont stop a gutter climbing raccoon. In the back of the big picture, a raccoon probably ripped the chimney cap off, like it was just some branches in his way. They don’t get the name little grizzly bear for nothing! They are destructive and strong animals..

Raccoon climbing to roof

Stop feeding things around your house! Dog food is a biggie, and so are sources of water. But bird feeders are a good one and so are garbage cans. So we got to eliminate food sources.

Get a wildlife professional out to fix the issue. They will get the Raccoon to move her babies and install a heavy duty chimney cap. One that even a pregnant Raccoon can’t budge!

  Raccoon leaving an attic

Female Raccoon’s are starting to give birth!

Over the past 12 years I’ve seen lots of scenarios played out. There was the lady who called about snakes who actually had an irrigation line with air in it, causing the hissing sound. And the folks who had something in back of there beach house, which turned out to be a homeless guy. What about the German woman who called about a bird trapped in a vent and was chirping. I could hear it on the phone chirping, but it sounded more like an alert on a smoke detector telling her to change the battery. I told her that, but she insisted I come rescue the bird. I showed up and did an inspection with camera equipment, and showed her the pictures. No bird…. now lets replace that battery shall we?

But when I get to a home in Los Angeles with Baby Raccoon’s in the attic, There’s no mistaking it. I can actually smell Raccoon’s in an attic. I also can smell snakes, bats, and smell the difference between a red squirrel, or a Grey Squirrel if they have lived there inside the attic long enough.

Most clients with a nest of baby Raccoon’s inside there attic meet me at my truck with open arms. Makes me feel good to be wanted. But behind the open arms are red baggy eyes! some haven’t slept in days, and are wishing for immediate relief! Its possible to do, but chances are, we are going to have to do what’s called an eviction, and at nightfall, the mother will carry the babies to another location. Its a win- win all around for you and the Raccoon. No need to feel like you hired a proxy executioner, because we use a soft hand to get Raccoon’s out in Los Angeles!

Here I would like to familiarize you with the Raccoon! There playful antics, and personality is something to share with children as they forage for grubs and play in bird baths. But keep your distance from them, as the mother Raccoon is extremely protective of her young! Raccoon’s show little fear when they run into a human.

A Raccoon is an animal that prefers dim light or darkness. There eyes are adapted to low light conditions, and bright sunlight will hurt its eyes. A Raccoon will actually hide its eyes if the sun comes out and is too bright. If you see a Raccoon outside on a sunny day, don’t go near it! It is not acting normally, and could be sick!

A Raccoon is a medium sized animal found in North America. She gets as big as 50 pounds in some areas, and live as long as 12 years, although the average is 6 years. The female Raccoon can have Baby Raccoon’s after she is a year old, and has an average litter of 4 baby Raccoon’s. She will have her babies in a hole in the ground, or a hollow tree, or in an attic of a home where she has been on the roof! Raccoon’s like to climb on roofs and play in trees like monkeys. Most times they will climb tree branches to get on a roof, but sometimes they will climb a support pole, or a gutter down spout to get there.  Feeding Raccoon’s can be fun to watch, but may not be such a good idea in the city. Neighbors may blame you for them having a Raccoon in an attic. So, make sure before you feed Raccoon’s that your neighbors are alright with it. This kind of behavior is found in several places such as Los Angeles, San Diego, Long Beach, Orange county and Phoenix. We service ALL CITIES of these areas. Call us today!

Raccoon in Attic

Raccoon’s in attics will poop and pee all over insulation, and require all insulation to be removed and disinfect, and deodorized. Costing thousands of dollars

Raccoon’s can get sick, and do carry parasites that you can pick up too. Fleas, ticks, and lice can get picked up from Raccoon’s! Raccoon round worm is an intestinal parasite which Raccoon’s can pass to people. Raccoon Roundworm spores are in the poop of a raccoon (we call them raccoon droppings)   These spores can be dried in the raccoon droppings, and blow with the wind when disturbed. It can got into your eye, or lungs, then incubate into a worm!

Pet Raccoon’s The idea of having a pet raccoon some look forward to realizing. But the truth is, that Raccoon’s are wild animals. They should be left in the wild. A sick or injured raccoon should be cared for by a rehabilitator with a license issued by the state. Raccoon’s need to be dewormed and have shots to protect from distemper and rabies.

Raccoon’s in Los Angeles will run branches like a ladder to get on your roof. Once they get there, its only a matter of time before they start chewing on wood and removing siding and roofing to get in. This is the time of year that female Raccoon’s are having their babies in attics all over Los Angeles, so don’t wait until the damage gets worse in your home! Call us today and talk to a Raccoon Removal Professional and get a FREE price quote!

Damage Raccoon’s Do:

Raccoon’s in Los Angeles attics chew wires and wood all day long while inside, and start breeding in mid Feb. Then around the middle of March the baby Raccoon’s are born… in your attic. Now you have 6-8 more Raccoon’s to deal with, and every one of them wants to chew wires and wood. Not to mention all the poop and pee in your insulation! While chewing wires in your attic, sometimes the electric shock kills Raccoon’s. Other times, the Raccoon escapes and the house burns down.

Raccoon Poison: Raccoon poison isn’t the way to go in Los Angeles, California because the Raccoon’s die inside the attic or walls and cause a dead animal smell which is unbearable. Dead animal smell in the walls of a house in Los Angeles is only going to get worse until the dead animal is fully decayed, which may take 2 weeks!

Raccoon Trap: We use humane traps in Los Angeles, California. A Raccoon trap should be made out of metal or PVC. because Raccoon’s can chew out of a cheep Raccoon trap. Some other companies in Los Angeles use a lethal Raccoon trap designed to snap the Raccoon’s neck when he activates it. Still other Raccoon traps are designed to electrocute the Raccoon when it goes inside.

Raccoon Noises I have been in a lot of houses with Raccoon’s in attic, and I’ve heard lots of noises they make. Running noises, scampering noises, barking noises, scratching noises, and the sounds of little claws running from one side to the other.
